BITE Baja Youth Nature Protection Society - Deals with nature protection issues in the Baja region. Includes information on the current discussions about preservation of the black stork. Available in English, Hungarian, German, French, and Turkish.

Hungarian Environmental Partnership (Ökotárs Alapítvány) - Focused on stimulating citizen participation around the badly damaged environment in the region.

Waste Management Working Group (HuMuSz) - Alliance of 18 Hungarian environmental groups. Its main purpose is to educate Hungarian citizens in environmental issues, change their attitudes to waste and consumer issues.

Society of Protection (Védegylet) - Fields of activities: ecological politicy, environmental politics, protection of the rights of future generations.

Nimfea Nature Conversation Association - One of the biggest organizations of the Trans-Tiszanian region, with more than a thousand members, 13 well operating member organizations and one central office in Túrkeve to ensure the fluent operation.

Energy Club (Energia Klub) - Organization aiming to minimize the environmental and social problems stemming from energy production and use; includes publications, education, and a quiz.

WWF Hungary - Site of the local organization of WWF. Topics: forests, rivers, extensive land use, protection of endangered species, environmental challenges of joining the European Union.

The Clean Air Action Group (Levegő Munkacsoport) - Organization focused on sustainable transport, sustainable energy policy, sustainable urban development, protection of green areas in cities.
