Animal Rescue Ireland - Voluntary organisation which aims to improve the welfare of domestic animals, finding homes for unwanted pets; seeks homes for both fostering and outright adoption. Major divisions handle cats and dogs.

Cats' Aid - Gives aims and objectives of the group, which seeks to rescue, recover if possible and find good homes for unwanted cats. Longer-term, educates public and seek to provide a sanctuary. Includes information, FAQs, a bulletin board, picture gallery and details on fostering.

Collon Animal Sanctuary - The Sanctuary has been successfully running for the past fifteen years, with intentions announced of extending the facilities for the reception, care, and re-homing of animals. Has pictures of animals, including exotic rescuees.

Animal Rescue Centre, Drogheda - A voluntary non-profit making organisation, established to provide temporary shelter for the growing number of abused, abandoned and unwanted animals in the area. Features information on rehousing, fostering, membership and projects.

Uisneach Border Collie Rescue Ireland - Rehoming of unwanted Irish Border Collies to the European continent.

Sligo S.P.C.A - Provides information on the care of various animals, news from the shelter and details of animals that are looking for new homes.

Friends of Animals Rescue Centre - A volunteer run animal rescue centre in Mullingar.

Waterford SPCA - Waterford Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
