Concern - Organisation working to eliminate extreme poverty in the least developed countries of the world. Includes news, features, donation details and online donation facility.

GOAL - A major development organisation, promoting the right to basics of life, food, water, shelter, healthcare and literacy, with long-term progress key. Site offers a range of information on work and full offline donation/ volunteering details.

Gorta - Ireland's oldest development agency (since 1965), "Farming Against Famine", Gorta is the Irish National Committee of the United Nations Freedom from Hunger Campaign. It primarily, in conjunction with local groups, assists self-help agricultural development projects, with funding, machinery, seeds and training.

Bothar - Aid agency which concentrates on starting households in micro-farming, offering material on its work for general and school audiences, notes on how to donate, generally or by way of an animal and contact details.

Self Help Development International - Specialises in long-term famine prevention. Aims to help Africans to become self sufficient through development. All projects are designed to become self sufficient & self sustaining.

Mizen Malin - Supporting a cycle ride from Mizen Head to Malin Head, the length of Ireland for cancer charities.

Suas Educational Development - Dedicated to supporting education in the developing world by partnering sustainable community run educational projects.

Oxfam Ireland - Irish charity committed to volunteer work and fundraising in Ireland to support projects in the developing world. Provides details of the organisation, supported locations, campaigns, fundraising and shops.
