St-Petersburg Buddhist Monastery - Buddhist Traditional of Russia (the Gelugpa tradition of Buryat-Mongolian-Tibetan Buddhism). This site contains an appeal for help. The beautiful St-Petersburg Temple (built in the late 1800s) has fallen victim to the horrible loss of civil society that has occurred since the end of the Soviet Union.
