Furness Cricket Club - Based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria. Plays in the North Lancashire and Cumbria cricket league. News and events for the various teams, including juniors and women.

The Lakes Road Club - Formed in 1977 to give young cyclists in the Furness area a chance to compete in mass start cycle races. Events, results, picture gallery and cycling links.

Lakes Gliding Club - The club is based at Walney Airfield in Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria, has a wide range of gliders available for hire, and offers flying tuition.

RooseCote Raceway - Official Roosecote Raceway web site in Barrow-in-Furness. A short, smooth, oval tarmac track, with steep banked curves. Professional and friendly, run and raced by enthusiasts.

Furness Rugby Union Football Club - Fixtures and news of this club, founded in 1902 and one of the two Rugby Union teams in Barrow-in-Furness.
