Ullswater Yacht Club - Situated on the North East shore of Lake Ullswater, about 2 miles from Pooley Bridge, promotes and facilitates the sport of sailing, both racing and cruising, on Ullswater.

Rookin House Equestrian and Activity Centre - A wide range of activities, catering for all the family, conveniently situated at Troutbeck, 4 miles from Ullswater, and 8 miles from both Keswick and Penrith. Activities include driving an Abbott Battle Tank.
