Defence Bills Agency - DBA provides a range of services to the Ministry of Defence in respect of bill payment, debt recovery and the provision of associated management information. This site is mainly aimed at MOD contractors and finance branches, providing information on prompt payment and contact points.

Ministry of Defence, United Kingdom - Central corporate site of the UK Ministry of Defence. Provides information on the UK's armed forces and the Ministry, obtaining service records, policy documents and Defence news.

UK National Codification Bureau - Responsible for NATO Codification in the United Kingdom.

Directorate of Standardisation - Responsible for defining Defence Standards. Site provides a large archive of Standards documents in Adobe PDF format.

British Defence Staff in the United States - Based at the British Embassy in Washington DC, the British Defence Staff deal with all aspects of US-UK defence matters. Site provides a range of information on UK Defence for an American audience.

Central Data Management Authority - Responsible for ensuring consistent definition of data across the MOD and Services to enable interoperability amongst information systems.

Defence Export Services Organisation - Responsible for promoting and licensing the export of British military equipment.

The Hydrographic Office - United Kingdom Hydrographic Office, responsible for producing Admiralty charts of the waters off Britain and around the world.

Directorate General Commercial Organisation - Provides advice on a wide range of commercial issues to the Defence Procurement Agency (DPA), the Defence Logistics Organisation (DLO), and to all other Top Level Budget Holders (TLBs) in the Ministry of Defence. Site provides DEFCONs, DEFFORMs and other guidance useful to industry.

Duke of York's Royal Military School - The Duke of York's Royal Military School (an agency of the UK Ministry of Defence) provides a unique education for 11-18 year old children of those who have served for a minimum of four years on regular engagements in the British Armed Forces.

Disposal Services Agency - The Disposal Services Agency (formerly Disposal Sales Agency) provides a managed disposal service for Government and public sector organisations, focusing on asset realisation, inventory disposal, site clearances, waste management and consulting plus project management.

Training Group Defence Agency - Responsible for the recruitment and selection of all Royal Air Force personnel and for the policy and delivery of Royal Air Force non-operational training.

Defence Estates - Site of the Defence Estates Agency - responsible for the properties and lands owned by the MOD.

Design Repository - MOD programme which aims to establish an accurate and consistent equipment related data across the Land environment for new and legacy equipment.

Met. Office - Provides UK and international weather forecasting services for the Ministry of Defence, business and the public.

Defence Analytical Services Agency - Official source of UK Defence Statistics and National Statistics publications for the MoD.

Defence Scientific and Technical Laboratory - Provides advice and technical support to the Ministry of Defence on science and technology issues. Site gives information on careers opportunities, products and services offered.

British Forces Post Office - Provides mail delivery services to British Forces worldwide. Site provides information on mail services, including the "e-Bluey" electronic mail service available online.

Defence Aviation Repair Agency - Responsible for a range of services across all aspects of MOD aviation repair support. Site provides a wide range of information on DARA's operations, sections and locations.

Defence Scientific Advisory Council - Provides independent advice to the Secretary of State for Defence on matters of concern to the Ministry of Defence in the fields of science, engineering and technology.

Warship Support Agency - Provides logistic support to the Fleet and to other in-service maritime elements of the armed services.

Veterans Agency - Ministry of Defence agency responsible for veterans' affairs, including war and service pensions, service records, military graves, medals and welfare issues.

Defence Storage & Distribution Agency - Provides the UK Armed Forces with storage and distribution services. Site offers background information on the agency, contact details and business information.

Defence Procurement Agency - Ministry of Defence agency responsible for the procurement of equipment for the Armed Forces.

Defence Logistics Organisation - Provides joint logistic support to the UK's Armed Forces.

Defence Technology Centres - Collaborative research centres bringing together defence scientists and industry to generate, develop and exploit innovative technology for UK Defence.

Defence Vetting Agency - Responsible for carrying out, and maintaining, national security checks on military and civilian staff employed by the MOD, private sector personnel employed on defence related work, and staff in a number of other government departments.

Ministry of Defence Police - Provides policing services on the Defence Estate.

Strategic and Combat Studies Institute - The SCSI is a MOD-sponsored but independent organisation that brings together on a regular basis those interested in defence studies and related fields. Site provides details of activities and publications.

International Visits Control Office - Provides details on the role of IVCO in sponsoring visits to UK defence establishments by non-UK citizens and visits by UK nationals to defence establishment sites overseas.

UK Military Flight Training System - Project to replace the present flying training arrangements in the UK by 2010. Provides information about the aims of the project, key stakeholders, systems and technologies.

Defence Academy of the United Kingdom - Aims to provide civilian and military personnel with a high-quality education, primarily at post-graduate level, and conduct research in fields related to defence.

Joint Air Transport Evaluation Unit - Responsible for evaluating and devising systems and procedures for UK military air transportation.

Defence Contracts Online - Electronic version of the MOD Contracts Bulletin. Provides a searchable database of upcoming MOD tenders, contracts and future purchases.

MOD Procurement Portal - UK Ministry of Defence Procurement Portal, providing access to the MOD Defence Contracts Bulletin and a wide range of information relating to doing business with the MOD.
