Whole of Government Accounts Programme - Treasury-led exercise to publish a fully audited Whole of Government Account (WGA) for 2005/06 based on Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (GAAP), covering the whole of the United Kingdom public sector. Insolvency Service - Deals with insolvency matters in England & Wales and some limited insolvency matters in Scotland. Provides detailed practical information on how to deal with insolvency matters.

National Insurance Contributions Office - Manages the UK National Insurance system. Site provides information on National Insurance, how the system is administered and rates and allowances.

UK Financial Sector Continuity - Joint program from the Bank of England, Her Majesty's Treasury and the Financial Services Authority to promote and share information about financial sector contingency planning.

Government Economic Services - Provides career and recruitment information on the Government Economic Services, the largest employer of professional economists in the UK with nearly 600 people working in 30 government departments and agencies.

Public Works Loan Board - Makes loans from the National Loans Fund (NLF) to local government authorities and other prescribed bodies. Site describes the work of the Board and its lending arrangements.

Commissioners for the Reduction of the National Debt - Responsible for the investment and management of government funds. Provides information about its role and the funds that it manages.

Institute of Public Finance - Finance Theme - News and information on UK public finance from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.
