Public Trust Office - Controls money and property on behalf of people unable to do so themselves.

Audit Commission - Regulates the proper control of public finances by local authorities and the National Health Service in England and Wales. Site provides news and information on events, the work of the commission and policy guidance.

UK National Audit Office - NAO. Regulates the use of national public finances.

Financial Ombudsman - Provides assistance in resolving complaints against bank, building society, financial adviser, insurance company, investment firm, stockbroker or unit trust company.

Government Actuary's Department - Provides mainly public sector clients with independent, professional actuarial advice. Site provides information on the GAD and its work, publications and jobs.

Bona Vacantia - Responsible for administering the estates of persons who die intestate without known kin and collecting the assets of dissolved companies and failed trusts. Provides assistance for companies and estates.
