National Museums of Scotland - Comprises various national Scottish museums and collections, now answerable to the Scottish Executive. Site provides news and information on the museums, collections and events.

Scottish Arts Council - Provides advice, information and help to artists and arts organisations in Scotland. Site provides a wide variety of information on the arts in Scotland, including events and details of funding.

Historic Scotland - The agency which schedules monuments of national importance and lists particular historic buildings. Site provides information on many of Scotland's historic buildings.
