Margaret Blackwood Housing Association - Housing throughout Scotland for disabled people for rent and shared ownership. Housing design, adaptations, and access audits.

Sense Scotland - Non-profit organisation working with people who have impairments to vision and hearing with or without other disabilities.

The Phew Scotland Respite Short Breaks Centre - People with learning difficulties, adults and children, stay in a new 14 bedroomed building, purpose built property near Motherwell City Centre.

Edinburgh and East of Scotland Deaf Society - Provides a wide range of services to deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing people, their families and carers, mainly in Edinburgh and the Lothians, but also elsewhere in Scotland. Contact details.

The Scottish Council on Deafness - National co-ordinating body for voluntary and statutory organisations which cater for Deaf, deafened, deafblind and hard of hearing people, their families and carers, and professionals. Information on activities and events.

The Royal Blind Asylum and School - Charity providing for the education, training, employment, care and welfare of blind and visually impaired people in Scotland. Annual report and information on their activities.

The Scottish Society for Autism - Seeks to ensure the provision of the best possible education, care, support and opportunities for people of all ages with autism in Scotland. Information about their services, and programmes.

Scottish Consortium for Learning Disability - A partnership of 13 organisations offering advice, consultancy and awareness raising. Information on their campaigns, research, membership, publications and contact details.

Camphill Scotland - Supports Camphill Communities and special education in Scotland, where volunteer co-workers live with and care for people with special needs. Includes general information and links to community and school sites.

CarersNet - The Coalition of Carers in Scotland. Includes local groups, young carers' groups, statistics and information for both professional and home carers.

Mindfield - A charity that deals with learning difficulties. Informing on all neuro psychiatric disorders such as: ADHD, DCD, DAMP, and dyslexia.

Epilepsy Action Scotland - Provides general information about epilepsy, their services and campaigns, and their branch network.

Dyslexia in Scotland - With its network of branches, the organisation raises awareness of dyslexia and its effects. Details of services and publications offered.

Key - Provides individualised support to people with learning disabilities in a range of home and community settings. Information on the organisation, and its housing and care services.

Down's Syndrome Scotland - Information about the condition, with advice and guidance for individuals affected, their families and carers. Includes information about publications, membership and activities of the organisation.

Enable - A membership organisation in Scotland for people with learning disabilities and family carers. Information about their campaigns, services, events and fundraising, and partners.

Deafblind Scotland - Association of deafblind and dual-sensory impaired people offers information about the condition, and about support offered to sufferers, families and carers. Includes event and contact details.
